About Nick Shoulders

Nick Shoulders (born August 18, 1989 in Little Rock, Arkansas; raised in the Ozarks) is a progressive country singer-songwriter known for his punk-cowboy fusion, deep Americana, high yodels and whistling. Popular songs include “Rather Low”, “Snakes & Waterfalls”, “Hanks Checkout Line”. His newest album is Refugia Blues (2025). He co-runs Gar Hole Records. He’s acclaimed for reviving traditional Southern roots while challenging country’s modern norms.
